2012 FASHION COLOR TRENDS

Eurovet mode team, styling services, exhibitors, designers and colorist had developed a three distinguishable colour trend groups for 2012.

TENDER
           The clearest and palest of pastels, ideal for lofty and silky fabrics and for a new vintage mood that is more sexy than candid.

EARTHY
           The earth hues: ochres, oranges and copper tones which support the passion for nature and organic environments to use with mat or shinny effects, with top-of-the range laces, and for beachwear. Note a surge 'hand-dyed' effects, especially indigo.

FLORALS
           Floral tones, essential nuances for charming prints available now for ranges of limited volume.

11. Elsa Schiaparelli

Italian fashion designer. Born on 1890, in Rome, Italy. One of the most prominent fashion figure between the two world wars. Known for her  “Knitwear” fashion designs that is being influenced by surrealists.

10. Vivienne Westwood

British fashion designer. Born on April 8, 1941. Responsible for bringing “modern punk and new wave” fashion designs.

9. Roy Halston Frowick

American fashion designer. Born on April 23, 1932. Popular for his long dress fashion wear discotheques.

8. Christian Dior

French fashion designer. Born on January 21, 1905. Founder of one world’s top fashion house named “Christian Dior”. Best known for his distinctive Newlook silhouette.

7. Calvin Klein

Born on 1942 in New York. Famous for his tight designer jeans, urban design and sophistication. In the late 80’s he launched his undergarment and fragrances.

6.  Ralph Lauren

American fashion designer. Born on October 14, 1939. Best known for his Polo Ralph Lauren brand.

5. Gianni Versace

Italian fashion designer. Born on December 2, 1946.  His designed was influenced by ancient Roman , Greek art as well as a modern abstract.

4. Valentino Garavani

Italian fashion designer. Born on May 11, 1932. Founder of Valentino S.p.a. brand and company. His main lines are Valentino Garavani, Valentino Roma, and R.E.D. Valentino.

3. Yves Saint Laurent

French fashion designer. Born on August 1, 1936.  Known for making stunning designs and sophisticated women’s  tuxedo jackets.

2. Giorgio Armani

Italian fashion designer. Born on July 11, 1934. Noted for his men’s mear. Known for his clean tailored lines. And the first designer that banned model with body mass index ( IBM ) under 18.

1. Coco Chanel

French fashion designer. Born on August 19, 1883. Hailed to modernized fashion. Founder of the most famous fashion brand, “Chanel” . The only person in the couturier field to be named on Time 100: The most important people of the country.
